My Focus is the 1.0 Ecoboost and in January 2019 after 1500miles the message appeared. Dealer thought they had initially fixed problem but in February 2020 message reappeared. A static regen and a pcm update was done.

Hesitant to take it to Ford for diagnostics for them to tell me nothings wrong, as I have seen this on previous threads with similar issues. All of the engines are highly rated, but the star of the show is the turbocharged 1.0-litre Ecoboost unit, which is available with different power ratings. Bear in mind though, that there have been reports of Ford Focus 1.0 Ecoboost problems though, so check frequently to make sure coolant and hoses are in good order. FivzSZf.
